Meliá reveals plans for luxury multi-million dollar Bahamas resort

  Leading hoteliers Meliá have unveiled plans to run in a brand-new $3.5 billion all-inclusive leisure development in the Bahamas. The luxury Baha Mar development will span 1,000 acres and will include five hotels, private residences, gaming, golf, shopping, entertainment, and natural attractions. Meliá at Baha Mar will feature among other brands such as Rosewood Hotels, Mondrian and Grand Hyatt and The Baha Mar Casino and Hotel will take centre stage. The Bahamas’ newest luxury destination will offer guests a choice of over 2,900 rooms, overlooking a white sandy beach and turquoise waters. Amenities will include a 100,000 square foot casino, an 18-hole, 72-par Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, an ESPA spa and more than a dozen swimming pools. Meanwhile, a dedicated on-site centre will be devoted to meeting and conventions facilities.
